Requesting a UK media interview with Dr Goodall

Dr Goodall welcomes undertaking media interviews to inspire greater understanding and action on behalf of the natural world.  

Please send your request to media@janegoodall.org.uk with ‘Media interview’ in the heading. Due to Dr Goodall’s extensive travel schedule, last minute interviews are rarely possible, so please provide as much notice as you can, thank you.

Requesting a public appearance by Dr Goodall

Dr Goodall welcomes taking part in events (either in person, or via a live or pre-recorded video address) in both public and private settings to encourage others to take positive action to protect the planet we all share.

Each week we receive a large number of invitations for Dr Goodall to attend a wide range of events in the UK and sadly it is not possible to accept them all. Priority will be given to considering opportunities which offer the following:

  • A national/regional focus in the UK

  • A significant audience size

  • An organisation with a large social media following

  • Dr Goodall as a solo speaker, rather than a panellist

  • A long lead time (Dr Goodall’s diary is booked up over six months in advance)

  • The potential to either generate income for the Jane Goodall Institute UK (usually via a speaking fee donation) or the opportunity to enlist a large number of schools/young people to join Roots & Shoots UK

If you have an event that meets the above criteria, please send your request (outlining the above details) to info@janegoodall.org.uk with ‘Public appearance’ in the heading.

Please allow at least two weeks for your request to be reviewed. With regret, due to our small team size we are unable to respond to approaches that are outside the above parameters.
